Flint Dredgers Global Services Limited was formed as a limited liability corporation in Nigeria in 2006 in response to the following market conditions:

  1. The stability of a democratic government in Nigeria after years of military rule,and the start-up and growth opportunities in the Petroleum Industry, which materialised as a result of deregulation of the market and positive government policies for indigenous companies to participate in the market and the new economic conditions it created.
  2. The need for use of efficient storage, distribution and financial methods previously overlooked or underdeveloped and inefficient in the Nigerian Petroleum Markets in particular.
  3. Evidence of customers that are prepared to place relatively long term and large orders/contracts for the supply, purchase and storage of petroleum products.
  4. New rules governing environmental performance and responsibility in the oil industry
  5. Divestitures by the oil majors from the downstream sector whilst focusing more on the upstream market

    The basic purpose of this proposal is to introduce Flint Dredgers Global Services and its business model.

FLINT DREDGERS GLOBAL SERVICES LIMITED is an Oil and Gas Company founded in Nigeria following the Federal Government’s deregulation of the industry in the late 1990s. The company started business in 2003 with its primary interest being the trade of physical petroleum products.  Our businesses cuts across the Oil and Gas Sector speciffically Purchase, Supply and Distributions. Our services can be categorised into the following groups.

Petroleum Trading: We trade large volume cargos to the Major Oil Marketers in the country and other small volume oil-marketing retailers referred to as Independent Marketers.

Petroleum Marketing: Supply and distribution of Gas Oil and Fuel Oil to local industries, construction companies, gas stations and production companies/ end users on contract basis.

Storage, Transportation and Logistics: Distribution of petroleum products and depot diligence. We have a through-put agreement with depot owners. And this avails us the market share in terms of spot sells in the open market
